World AIDS Day December 1st
This year's theme is "Leading with Science, Uniting for Action." By capturing the theme, Chicago's World AIDS Day 2011 will focus on ending the epidemic with hopes to accelerate the response to HIV and AIDS by preventing new infections and promoting communication on all levels. OUR CALL TO OBAMA
Treatment saves lives.
New research shows that treatment reduces transmission by 96%.
Yet more than 10,000 people in the US are waiting for HIV medications through ADAP.
*On November 11th, the CWAP team gathered with attendees of the U.S. AIDS conference and other advocates to march to Obama's campaign office to call for funding for HIV/AIDS treatment. Check out the video under our video testimonial page.
